Inspired by the ocean's tranquility, this ring features an opalescent blue sapphire with a soft, dreamy glow, like sunlight dancing on water. I design every piece of jewelry from my New Jersey studio. Nothing here is mass-produced or shipped from a warehouse. When you order, I work with my trusted stone setter and check every detail before it ships out.

Where the Stones Come From

The sapphire is natural, selected from a trusted gem dealer in Thailand whose family has been in the trade for generations. Sourced from small-scale, independent miners in Thailand, Vietnam, and Africa, these stones come from people rather than large industrial corporations.

The accent diamonds are lab-grown. I wanted to pair the two on purpose: a natural gemstone that spent millions of years forming deep in the earth, alongside diamonds made possible by modern technology. To me, it's a thoughtful way to create a really unique piece.

How the Sapphire Gem Gets Its Glow

Like nearly all fine sapphires, this one has been gently heated, a traditional practice that has been used for centuries to bring out the stone's natural color and clarity. Sapphires are very durable, so it's well suited to everyday wear.

Each order is shipped with a fully insured courier (FedEx or UPS). Tracking is included, and a signature is required at delivery to keep your purchase safe. 

Return Policy

Ready-to-ship pieces in stock can be returned within 7 days of delivery if they are unworn, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition. 

Not eligible for return:

  • Custom or made-to-order pieces
  • Jewelry that has been resized or modified
  • Jewelry not in its original condition

Gem Photography

Each piece of gemstone jewelry is photographed with an iPhone using a 10x macro lens and flash, and presented as accurately as possible. When available, I also film short videos in natural daylight to show how the stone looks outdoors. 

Note: Because natural gemstones dynamically respond to indoor and outdoor lighting, they can often exhibit different shades of their primary hue.
